September 12, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Fans of the hugely popular LEGO Dimensions should prepare themselves for Friday 15th September as FIVE new expansion packs get ready to be released.  There will be both Team and Fun Packs for Cartoon Network’s animated series, Teen Titans Go! and The Powerpuff Girls as well as a Fun Pack for mischievous spook for hire, Beetlejuice.  Watch the launch trailer for these latest expansions below…

The Teen Titans Go! Team Pack includes minifigures of superheroes, Raven and Beast Boy from DC Comics and will also include their 3-in-1 T-Car which can be rebuilt into the Forklift and T-Plane.   The Teen Titans Go! Fun Pack will include the Starfire minifigure, allowing players to use her powerful green energy blast ability, and the 3-in-1 Titan Robot.  All Teen Titans Go! minifigures will give access to several areas including the Titans Tower and Wacka Doodles Amusement Park.  Any gamer who purchases either of these packs will gain access to an exclusive, original episode that tells the story of how the team of teenage superheroes discovered  the LEGO Dimensions multiverse.

The Powerpuff Girls expansion packs will take players to Townsville in a bid to fight crime and use super cool powers.  The Team Pack will include the minifigures for super-powered sisters, Blossom and Bubbles and also the 3-in-1 Octi which can be rebuilt into the Super Skunk or Sonic Squid.  The Team Pack will also include the PPG Smartphone which can be rebuilt into the PPG Hotline and Powerpuff Mag-Net.  The Powerpuff Girls Fun Pack contains a Buttercup minifigure and the  3-in-1 Mega Blast Bot and can be rebuilt into the Ka-Pow Cannon and Slammin’ Guitar.  Both of these packs will provide access to the The Powerpuff Girls adventure world which will include locations such as Pokey Oaks elementary, Rainbow Land, and Professor Utonium’s lab.

Finally, The Beetlejuice Fun Pack will include a Beetlejuice minifigure and use his supernatural powers such as Mind Control and Telekinesis.  There will also be Saturn’s Sandworm that can be rebuilt into the Haunted Vacuum and Spooky Spider.  He will also unlock the exclusive Adventure World and Battle Arena.
