Puzzle platformer Light Tracer coming to PS VR this month

September 15, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Oasis Games have announced that the will be launching their VR platforming puzzler Light Tracer on the Playstation VR on the 26th September.  This new platform puzzler will see players lead a Princess through an assortment of puzzles in order to help her people.  For a taster of the story and the gameplay watch the new trailer below…

In Light Tracer players will need to help the young princess to the top of a tall and challenging tower that leads to the land of the gods.  Once the princess is safely there she can ask the gods to help her people but it is up to the player to use their abilities to help her survive the perilous puzzles that await.  Though it isn’t just puzzles that await up the tower, trolls, deadly snowmen and other beasts all lay in wait for a tasty treat.

Using two Move controllers, players will use one to control the magical Light Staff which will guide the princess whilst the other will be used to rotate and move about the world to ensure that the princess can take the safest route possible.

“The LIGHT TRACER team is building a VR game that will create a lofty experience for lovers of both puzzle and platform games,” said Alen Wu, Director of Business Development at Oasis Games. “Wit, creativity and reflexes are all needed to help the Princess reach the top of the tower to save her people—and it promises to be a very entertaining journey!”

Light Tracer will be available on the 26th September on the PS VR.
