It star Jaeden Lieberher on who he wants to play his character in the sequel

September 21, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Jaeden Lieberher, one of the stars of It, has spoken about who he would like to play the grown up version of his character in the sequel.

The first movie covers the part of the book which focuses on the group of friends as children, with the second movie set to concentrate on the same individuals but as adults, having to confront once again the evil of Pennywise.

In an interview with Variety on a number of It related topics, the young actor spoke about being recognised, his opinion on horror films, favourite scenes, and which actor he sees playing his character Bill in the film’s sequel.

“I think Ewan McGregor would be interesting. I don’t want to offend him or anything, but he might be too old. I love Ewan McGregor, and I think he’s a great actor. I think he could play Bill very well.”

Of course, this is only wishful thinking from the young actor, but an McGregor’s stature isn’t out of the realms of possibility considering the huge success that It has become.
