Back in July, it was reported that Sin City’s Devon Aoki was to join the cast of Arrow as Tatsu Yamashiro, a.k.a. Katana, but it seems that scheduling conflicts have forced her to drop out, with Deadline revealing that The Wolverine star Rila Fukushima has been brought in as her replacement.
Fukushima is one of several newcomers to the cast of the DC superhero show for season three, with other additions including Matt Ward as Komodo, Brandon Routh as The Atom, Karl Yune as Maseo Yamashiro and Peter Stormare as Count Vertigo. They will join returning stars Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), David Ramsey (John Diggle), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), Colton Haynes (Roy Harper), John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn), Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance) and Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance).
