The Dark Knight returning to theaters for 10th anniversary

January 16, 2018 by Gary Collinson

2018 marks the tenth anniversary of Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece The Dark Knight, and Showcase Cinemas has announced that it will celebrate the occasion by giving fans in the north east of the United States the opportunity to revisit the middle chapter of The Dark Knight Trilogy on the big screen.

On February 8th and 11th, Showcase will screen the film, which is widely regarded to be one of – if not the – greatest comic book movie of all time, and sees Christian Bale’s Batman going up against The Joker, played of course by the late Heath Ledger in an Oscar-winning turn.

Meanwhile, home theater fans will also be able to pick up The Dark Knight in glorious 4K  later this year, as Warner Bros. releases the full Dark Knight Trilogy – along with Dunkirk, Inception, Interstellar and The Prestige – in the Ultra HD format.
