Joel Huenink goes off road in his latest 7 Days to Die Alpha 17 video

January 24, 2018 by Andrew Newton

A new video showcasing a most welcome feature of Alpha 17 of 7 Days to Die has arrived from Joel Huenink of The Fun Pimps.  This latest video shows off the brand new jeep which players will be able to use to travel around the zombie wastes.  Watch this trailer below.

Starting with a minor point, Joel starts the video by showing off the new menu that players will find when Alpha 17 hits.  There’s not a huge amount of changes to it but it’s always interesting to see what could be in store on the menus.

The main part of the video is all about the new Jeep vehicle which looks highly detailed and absolutely brilliant.  A vehicle other than the mini bike that is capable of carrying more than one player has been much requested in the forums for a good while now and the Jeep will fulfill that request.  There is still work to be done on the jeep including smoke to come out of the exhaust funnels on top and particles thrown up from the tyres as it travels but aside from that it’s looking better than what could be imagined.

During the video Joel takes the Jeep over a variety of terrains destroying piles of rubbish and running over the occasional zombie but there’s also a demonstration of how the vehicle is also good at driving through garage doors.

Overall, the Jeep looks great fun and a very welcomed addition to the game.  There’s much more in store for Alpha 17 so keep checking back for the latest on Alpha 17 of 7 Days to Die.
