Stranger Things season 3 will depict new “forces of evil”

January 24, 2018 by Samuel Brace

The kids and adults of Stranger Things will have to handle new “forces of evil” when the show returns for season 3.

The hit Netflix series is certainly one of the most beloved shows currently around and anticipation around its pending third season seems to be as high as ever.

While the show likely won’t turn up until 2019, the series’ executive producer and director Shawn Levy, has offered fans a taste of what to expect when it finally comes around.

Speaking to Glamour (via Heroic Hollywood), Levy says that much of season 3’s details have been finalised, including the direction the story will take:

“We’re going to give Will a break,” Levy said. “We’re not going to put Will through hell for a third season in a row. He’ll be dealing with stuff, but he won’t be at rock bottom the way we forced the amazing Noah Schnapp to play.”

Many fans are assuming that trouble will be coming the way of Dustin and Chief Hopper after they were sprayed with particles in those season 2 tunnels, however, Levy says this might not be the case:

“You might assume that,” he admitted. “But you would probably end up being wrong. We’re [going to be] dealing with forces of evil that are new.”
