With tless than a fortnight to go to its release, Fox has debuted a new TV spot for David Fincher’s (Fight Club) upcoming film Gone Girl, which is based upon the acclaimed novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn. Check it out below after the official synopsis…
Gone Girl unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage. On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
Gone Girl is set for release on October 3rd, with a cast that includes Ben Affleck (Argo), Rosamund Pike (Hector and the Search for Happiness), Emily Ratajkowski (iCarly), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Tyler Perry (Madea Gets A Job), Missi Pyle (The Artist), Patrick Fugit (We Bought a Zoo) and Scoot McNairy (12 Years a Slave).
