James Wan explains why we’re yet to see an Aquaman trailer

March 25, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Warner Bros.’ next DC Extended Universe release Aquaman is set for release this coming December, and usually by this point in the DC Films cycle, we’ve already had a glimpse at what’s in store thanks to a first teaser trailer.

However, that’s not the case with Aquaman, and with rumours circulating that the studio was set to debut a trailer this weekend at WonderCon, director James Wan has taken to Twitter to clarify why we’re yet to see anything from the Jason Momoa-headlined solo movie:

Just this past week, a rumour surfaced (there’s another oceanic pun) claiming that there’d been some negative reactions to an Aquaman test screening and that there were “some issues to be resolved”. However, this runs counter to a report back in February which said that early reactions had been positive, praising he film for  having “tons of action” and being very emotional.
