Stranger Things season 3 details have been revealed

March 27, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Some interesting details regarding season three of Stranger Things have been revealed, courtesy of Shawn Levy.

Stranger Things season two built upon the enormous success of its debut outing and, of course, fans are excited to hear about what the Netflix series has in store for them when it returns for season three.

Well, we have actually had a bit of news on that front, as executive producer Shawn Levy has revealed a few story details on the red carpet before a panel appearance. Levy said (via The Hollywood Reporter) that season three would be set one year after the second season in the summer of 1985. Levy also mentioned that Eleven and Mike, and Max and Lucas, would be couples as the show begins.

“Mike and Eleven and are going strong, so that’s a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas. But again, they’re like 13- or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there’s fun to that instability,” Levy said.

Levy also revealed that Steve would have a bigger part to play next season: “We’ll definitely get to see some more of Steve Harrington in season three, and I’ll just say we won’t be abandoning the Dad Steve magic. I don’t want to say much more, but I literally feel that we were walking along and we stumbled onto a gold mine with Dad Steve.”

What do you think of what Levy has had to say? Does more Dad Steve make you excited for season 3?
