Watch Bill Murray’s hidden cameo appearance in Dumb And Dumber To

November 15, 2014 by Robert Kojder

This weekend marks Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne’s 20 year long-awaited return to the big screen in Dumb And Dumber To, and while the critical reception has been mixed, that isn’t stopping the Farrelly Brothers from making headlines in other ways. In the movie, there is a cameo so well hidden and disguised, that not myself or anyone that attended screenings multiple weeks in advance even noticed.

No, it’s not the much talked about Jennifer Lawrence cameo. That one was actually removed for some reason, but will most likely find its way onto the Blu-ray release of the movie as a deleted scene special feature.

What we are talking about here is a scene very early on of Bill Murray making an appearance in a hazmat suit, cooking up some drugs and getting his Breaking Bad game on, to help pay rent during Lloyd’s absence. Due to the nature of the hazmat suit, it’s nigh impossible to actually realize that you’re looking at Bill Murray. The fact that it’s just a quick 10 second scene doesn’t help either. Check it out here…

The Farrelly Brothers also recently discussed how the cameo came to be, which you can read about below:

“Since you never see Icepick, we were thinking, ‘Hey, we should get someone who’s iconic to do it.’ And who’s more iconic than Bill Murray?”

Did you notice that Bill Murray was in Dumb And Dumber To? Does the film hold any more secrets? Comment below!
