Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee rumoured for Twin Peaks return

January 14, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

We reported earlier in the week that Kyle MacLachlan has been officially confirmed to return to Twin Peaks as Special Agent Dale Cooper in Showtime’s new nine-part revival of David Lynch’s classic series from the early 1990s. Now Bloody Disgusting is reporting some big rumours concerning two more stars returning to the small Washington town.

Actresses Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee are coming back to the show, which on the face of it sounds very likely, but is strange in the sense that their characters (Audrey Horne, Laura Palmer, and Maddy Ferguson) presumably died in the previous run of the show. So could be see some flashbacks, flash-forwards or perhaps something much more spooky? We shall see soon enough, but our money is on something much more “far out” than anyone can think of.

These are of course just rumours at the moment, but from the show’s point of view it makes sense to include some the older characters, particuarly if they link the new series closely to the original.

All will be revealed in early 2016 when Twin Peaks returns. Now, who’s for coffee??
