Big Finish Productions has revealed that they will release a brand-new series of audio adventures for The Twelfth Doctor in July 2026. The Twelfth Doctor Adventures: Run Fast, Be Kind will follow the Doctor as he deals with life as a widower, after the final adventures he had with River Song, but he’s not alone for too long as he picks up a new companion.
The Run Fast, Be Kind series will consist of six episodes, each releasing as a weekly download. These episodes will see the Doctor pick up a new companion from the end of the universe. Ash Wilton is a travelling bard from a dying world who befriends the Doctor, and it’s not long before he is embarking on wondrous adventures through time and space.
The six audio dramas in this new series are:

- The Broken Man by Rochana Patel
- The Beautiful and the Damned by Katherine White
- Wings of Steel by Alfie Shaw (based on a story by Alex Hewitt)
- Duty of Care by Christian Markham
- The Second Death of the Daleks by Alfie Shaw
Jon Culshaw and Gwithian Evans
Doctor Who’s Twelfth Doctor was portrayed by Peter Capaldi on screen, but for this new audio series, he will be voiced by Jon Culshaw. Joining Jon are Gwithian Evans as Ashlorn ‘Ash’ Wilton.
