Anna Kendrick’s Woman of the Hour gets a new trailer

With just a month to go until Woman of the Hour arrives on Netflix, the streamer has released a new poster and trailer for the crime thriller.

The film marks the feature directorial debut of Anna Kendrick who also stars as Cheryl Bradshaw, an aspiring actress who is cast on an episode of the 1970s matchmaking game show The Dating Game, unaware that the contestant Rodney Alcala (Daniel Zovatto) is hiding a dark secret.

Joining Anna Kendrick and Daniel Zovatto in the cast are  Tony Hale, Nicolette Robinson, Pete Holmes, Autumn Best, Kathryn Gallagher, and Kelley Jakle. Watch the trailer below…

The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a yearslong murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.

Woman of the Hour arrives on Netflix on October 18th.
