Asymmetrical survival horror Identity V arrives on the App Store next week

NetEase and Behaviour Digital have announced that their asymmetrical survival horror, Identity V, will arrive on the App Store on the 5th July.  Having already attained the number one spot for free mobile games in China, Identity V aims to have the same success worldwide.  Watch the story trailer below to see more on this multiplayer horror…

Identity V is a 4 vs 1 asymmetrical multiplayer game that works in a similar way to the likes of Dead by Daylight, Evolve, and Citizen Kabuto.  Players are given the choice of being a Hunter or Survivor with those who choose to be the Hunter will be very powerful but have the goal of eliminating the four man team of survivors. Hunters have access to an arsenal of special abilities to help them achieve their objective.  The 4 Survivors will need to locate and decode the cipher towers scattered around each map.  Once this is done the exit will open giving players the chance to escape ….. providing the Hunter doesn’t catch them first.

Key features of Identity V are:

  • First ever AAA asymmetrical multiplayer mobile game.
  • Experience tense horror-themed action and heart pounding multiplayer match ups.
  • Intuitive controls that put player and gameplay first.
  • Survivors must find and decode the cipher towers to escape the Manor and the hunter.
  • As the Hunter, trap and destroy the survivors to ensure they will never escape the manor.
  • Multiple cosmetics and character unlocks in a free to play model that rewards players for playing.

Identity V will be available on iOS devices on the 5th July.
