Atlanta takes a Eurotrip and promises more insanity with season 3 trailer

March 5, 2022 by EJ Moreno

As the promo says, things are getting pretty intense. Atlanta is back for season three and the ATL group are heading outside of Georgia.

In this frantic trailer for the upcoming third season, we see Earn (Donald Glover) outside of Atlanta, which promises a wild cross-continental trip. Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) is on tour, and we Earn, Darius (LaKeith Stanfield), and Vanessa (Zazie Beetz) travel throughout Europe, getting themselves into all types of shenanigans. Will the show’s hiatus help it reach new levels than before?

Donald Glover will serve as the primary writer on the series and is an executive producer, returning after taking a break. The last season of Atlanta aired in 2018, so there’s a lot to adjust to in this upcoming story. Check out the trailer here…

Taking place almost entirely in Europe, Season 3 of Atlanta finds “Earn” (Donald Glover), “Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles” (Brian Tyree Henry), “Darius” (LaKeith Stanfield), and “Van” (Zazie Beetz) in the midst of a successful European tour, as the group navigates their new surroundings as outsiders, and struggle to adjust to the newfound success they had aspired to. Donald Glover serves as Executive Producer, Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms, and Dianne McGunigle. Atlanta is produced by FX Productions.

Season 3 of Atlanta premieres on March 24th on FX.
