Baywatch is set to return to the small screen in January as FOX launches its reboot of the iconic TV series, with Arrow star Stephen Amell donning the red shorts as Hobie Buchannon, son of the legendary Mitch Buchannon and now following in his father’s footsteps as a lifeguard captain on the beaches of Southern California.
Alongside Stephen Amell, the series will star Hassie Harrison, Shay Mitchell, Thaddeus LaGrone, Noah Beck, Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne and Jessica Belkin, with David Chokachi reprising his original series role as Cody Madison and Erika Eleniak returning as Shauni McClain in a guest role; check out the trailer below…
The new version of Baywatch finds wild-child legacy character Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell) serving as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when his daughter Charlie Vale (Jessica Belkin) shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy.
Baywatch will premiere in January 2027.
