Bill Murray is set to reunite with his Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola for On the Rocks, a new feature from Apple and A24.
According to Deadline, the film will see Rashida Jones playing a young mother who reconnects with her larger than life playboy father (Murray) on an adventure through New York.
Murray and Coppola first teamed on 2003’s Lost in Translation, which saw Coppola winning an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and a nomination for Best Director, while Murray received a Best Actor nomination. They later reunited on Netflix’s 2015 holiday special A Very Murray Christmas.
Filming on On the Rocks is set to get underway in New York in the Spring, with Mitch Glazer and ROman Coppola producing.
