Vertical has released a poster and trailer for Driver’s Ed, the teen road trip comedy from director Bobby Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber, Champions).
The film follows a group of high school seniors as they steal a driver’s ed car and set off on a chaotic journey to track down their lovesick friend’s college freshman girlfriend and win her back.
The cast includes Sam Nivola, Sophie Telegadis, Mohana Krishnan, Aidan Laprete, Lilah Pate, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, Alyssa Milano and Tim Baltz. Watch the trailer below…
From a script by Thomas Moffett (An Actor Prepares), the film follows a group of teens who hit the road in a stolen driver’s ed car, racing against the clock to help a lovesick high school senior (Nivola) track down his college freshman girlfriend (Pate) and win her back. Over the course of one chaotic 24-hour journey, they’re chased by school security and the cops, targeted by small-time crooks, and somehow end up adopting a three-legged cat.
Driver’s Ed is set for release on May 15th.
