Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite makes history at the 2020 SAG Awards

The winners of the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles, California last night, with Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite taking home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, the first time in SAG Awards history that the top prize has gone to a foreign-language film.

Joaquin Phoenix continued his awards season run by taking the Best Leading Actor prize for Joker, with Renee Zellweger named Best Leading Actress for Judy and Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Laura Dern (Marriage Story) honoured in the supporting categories.

Small screen winners included The Crown (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series) and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series). Check out the full list of winners here…
