Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott prepare for D-Day in trailer for WWII drama Pressure

February 19, 2026 by Ricky Church

Focus Features has released the trailer for its World War II drama Pressure, starring Brendan Fraser (Rental Family) and Andrew Scott (Wake Up Dead Man) as they prepare for the historic D-Day campaigns against the Nazis.

Pressure sees Fraser as US General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Scott as Captain James Stagg, a meteorologist with the RAF who closely watched the weather leading up to D-Day that could either offer cover to their soldiers or ruin the plan altogether. The film focuses on the relationship between the two men and the tough choices they face as the most important campaign to defeating Nazi Germany gets closer and closer. Watch the trailer below…

In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, the film follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg as they face an impossible choice—launch the largest and most dangerous invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether.

Pressure is directed by Anthony Maras from a script he wrote with David Haig, based on Haig’s 2014 play of the the same name. The films also features Kerry Condon (F1: The Movie) as Kay Summersby, Chris Messina (Based on a True Story) as Irving P. Krick, Damian Lewis (Billions) as Bernard Montgomery, Con O’Neill (Our Flag Means Death) as Trafford Leigh-Mallory and Daniel Quinn Toye (Voltron) as Michael Gregory.

Pressure will be released on May 29th.
