Bridge Constructor Portal coming to stores this summer for Xbox One and Playstation 4

June 22, 2018 by Andrew Newton

It’s time to get your Aperture Science lab coat and clipboard ready for the summer as a physical copy of the Bridge Constructor Portal Package will be arriving in retail stores for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.  This package will also include the original Bridge Constructor and Bridge Constructor Stunts.

Bridge Constructor gives players the chance to become the next Isambard Kingdom Brunel and design and create bridges capable of withstanding the weight of vehicles travelling over them.  Cars and lorries will be the test subjects used to see if the bridge will stand the weight or collapse due to physics.

In Bridge Constructor Stunts players are challenged to be both an engineer and stunt driver and build ramps and loops to reach each level’s goal.  Once the structure is completed it is up to the player to drive their vehicle across these stunts and see if they work.

Finally, Bridge Constructor Portal will set players the task of building bridges, ramps, slides and other constructions through 60 test chambers.  To get the Bendies safely across the finish line in their vehicles players will need to make use of gadgets such as portals, propulsion gel and aerial faith plates to get the Bendies past hazards including sentry turrets, acid pools and laser barriers.  GLaDOS, voiced again by Ellen McLain, will guide players through a tutorial and scathingly accompany them through the numerous levels.

“We love seeing the highly creative and unique approaches players take in the Bridge Constructor series,” said Gregor Ebert, PR Manager of Headup Games. “You can really innovate and create your own victory path in each of these games, so we’re excited to share each of these challenging experiences in a single bundle.”

The Bridge Constructor Portal Package will be in retail stores late summer.
