Cast announced for Stephen Mangan’s Channel 4 comedy series Hang Ups

Channel 4 has announced details of the cast for Stephen Mangan’s Hang Ups, an adaptation of Lisa Kudrow’s Emmy-nominated Web Therapy, which it set to ““present a hilarious and outrageous catalogue of neuroses, phobias, issues, anxieties and psychopathies” and sees Mangan taking on the role of Dr. Richard Pitt as he offers his weekly quickfire webcam therapy sessions.

Set to feature alongside Mangan in the comedy series are David Tennant (Broadchurch), Jessica Hynes (Spaced), Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd), Monica Dolan (W1A), Celia Imrie (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and Game of Thrones alumni Conleth Hill, Charles Dance, Richard E. Grant, and Harry Lloyd.

Hang Ups is being written by Mangan and Robert Delamere; the half-hour comedy series will consist of six episodes, and is set to air on Channel 4 in 2018.
