Apple TV has dropped the trailer for Way of the Warrior Kid, their Chris Pratt-led comedy which stars the Parks and Recreation actor as Uncle Jack, an injured NAVY Seal who trains his nephew to take on the playground bullies.
Directed by McG (Terminator: Salvation) and based on the bestselling children’s novel by Jocko Willink, Way of the Warrior Kid also stars Jude Hill, Linda Cardellini, and Levi McConaughey. Check out the poster and trailer below…
Middle school has been a nightmare for Marc, a good kid who is bullied and feels behind in everything. That changes when his Uncle Jake, an injured and decorated Navy SEAL, comes to spend the summer. To help Marc defend himself, Jake devises an ambitious program called “Operation Warrior Kid” based on his SEAL training to teach his nephew what real courage is and how to face down his own demons.
