May 12, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Games has announced a Closed Alpha for their upcoming free-to-play, platform fighter MultiVersus, will begin on 19th May until 27th May on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC.  Those wishing to take part in the Closed Alpha will be able to register and enjoy all the features currently available in the game, including a variety of beloved characters such as Bugs Bunny and Batman, a team-based 2 vs. 2 mode and more, if invited to participate. Please note that registration isn’t a guarantee of an invite.

MultiVersus is an upcoming free-to-play platform fighter featuring a range of characters from many different TV series and cartoons etc., including DC’s Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn; Shaggy from Scooby-Doo; Bugs Bunny; Tom & Jerry; Jake and Finn from Adventure Time; Steven Universe and Garnet and an original creature named Reindog.  More and more iconic characters will be added over time.

It’s also been announced that a MultiVersus 2 vs 2 tournament will be taking place at the Evolution Championship Series 2022 in the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on 5th-7th August.  If you’re wanting to give that a visit then start looking up details now.

A new video has been released showing two members of the Player First Games development team taking on two gamers from the Fighting Game Community in the game’s 2 vs 2 mode.

The MultiVersus Closed Alpha will be taking place from the 19th May on Playstation and Xbox consoles and PC.  Those gamers wanting to take part can visit Multiversus.Com for the chance to be invited to participate.
