FX has found its Johnnie Cochran for American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, with Courtney B. Vance (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) signing on to play O.J.’s defense attorney in the upcoming miniseries.
Based on O.J.’s 1995 trial for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, The People v. O.J. Simpson will star Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson, with David Schwimmer playing attorney Robert Kardashian, Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark and John Travolta as lawyer Robert Shapiro.
