Disney+ shares first trailer for Home Sweet Home Alone

October 12, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Disney has released a trailer and images for Home Sweet Home Alone, director Dan Mazer’s reimagining of the festive comedy Home Alone, which follows mischievous 10-year-old Max (Archie Yates) as he protects his home against burglars after his family leave him behind when they sent off to Japan for the holidays.

Max Mercer is a mischievous and resourceful young boy who has been left behind while his family is in Japan for the holidays. So when a married couple attempting to retrieve a priceless heirloom set their sights on the Mercer family’s home, it is up to Max to protect it from the trespassers…and he will do whatever it takes to keep them out. Hilarious hijinks of epic proportions ensue, but despite the absolute chaos, Max comes to realise that there really is no place like home sweet home.

Featuring in the cast of Home Sweet Home Alone are Archie Yates, Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell.

Home Sweet Home Alone arrives on Disney+ on November 12th.
