Dying Light 2 Stay Human celebrates Payday 2’s 10th anniversary with new update

September 8, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Dying Light 2 Stay Human players rejoice as Techland has joined forces with Starbreeze Studios to bring a late summer treat celebrating the 10th anniversary of Payday 2. This new event runs until 21st September and is teased in a new trailer below along with another video showing the outfit and gear bundle available to purchase.

There’s a crime wave sweeping through Villedor and Infected Robbers and Thieving Bolters are popping up all over the city.  Once these are defeated they will drop the precious Red diamonds necessary for players to complete event goals and be rewarded with items such as a Nightrunner Safety Pack, Dallas Mask and Money Bundle weapon, alternatively red diamonds can also be sold for old time money in game.  There’s also a community challenge to be completed, if the Dying Light 2 Stay Human community gathers 11,000,000 diamonds then each player will score 25 Pilgrim Tokens.

Fans of Payday 2 will be able to pick up the PAYDAY Bundle for 550 DL Points.  This features Payday Gang Outfit, Money Bundle weapon and Blueprint, ‘The Change’ weapon charm and the Payday Paraglider.

That’s not all for Dying Light 2 players as there are other changes in store, including:

  • The introduction of Alterations that offer players short-timed activities dialing up the vibrancy and fun.
  • New DL points that provide a way of getting skin bundles without having to leave the game. At launch of this new system all players will get 500 DL points that can used in the in-game store.
  • Players can now play Community Maps on consoles. Until now these have only been available on PC but now players can enjoy the creations of the community.
  • Players who enjoy co-op sessions will be able to skip the prologue and get into the action and content creators will have the ability to swap between three levels of brutality.

So, what you waiting for? Load up Dying Light 2 Stay Human and get collecting those red diamonds.
