Edward Norton joins Daniel Craig and Dave Bautista for Knives Out 2

May 11, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

Rian Johnson is beginning to line-up another impressive ensemble for Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc to point the finger at in Netflix’s Knives Out sequel. Hot on the heels of Dave Bautista’s casting news, the murder-mystery has added another big-name suspect in the form of Edward Norton.

Deadline has followed the breadcrumb trail to reveal that the Fight Club and Moonrise Kingdom star will join a cast that is set to give the streaming giants good value for their gigantic outlay on the Knives Out property.

Johnson is once again returning to the director’s chair as well as writing the script, having recently signed a bumper $400 million plus deal with Netflix for two sequels. Production on the first sequel will get underway later this summer.

Are you excited at the potential for Norton to flex his deadpan comedic chops a la Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel? Let us know what you think of this casting news by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
