Evil takes root in trailer for Shudder horror Mandrake

Shudder has released a poster and trailer for director Lynne Davison’s upcoming horror-thriller Mandrake.

The film follows Cathy, a probation officer who is tasked with rehabilitating a notorious killer named ‘Bloody’ Mary Laidlaw and help her integrate back into society after spending two decades in jail. However, her belief that the murderer deserves a shot at redemption is soon tested when two children go missing neat Laidlaw’s property.

Mandrake follows probation officer Cathy Madden, who is given the task of rehabilitating notorious killer ‘Bloody’ Mary Laidlaw back into society after twenty years of jail. Cathy has always believed that every client deserves a shot at redemption, but her beliefs are firmly tested when two children disappear near Mary’s farm.

Mandrake features a cast that includes Deidre Mullins, Derbhle Crotty, Jude Hill, and Paul Kennedy.

Mandrake premieres on Shudder on November 10th.
