First image of Tom Hardy as Al Capone in Fonzo

August 9, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Director Josh Trank has taken to Twitter to share the first official image from the upcoming crime biopic Fonzo featuring Tom Hardy as the infamous mobster Al Capone; take a look here…

Fonzo sees Hardy starring as a 47-year-old Capone who, with dementia rotting his mind, finds himself haunted by harrowing memories of his violent and brutal past.

The film is being directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle, Fantastic Four) and sees Hardy joined in the cast by Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Matt Dillon (Wayward Pines), Linda Cardellini (Bloodline), Kathrine Narducci (The Sopranos) and Jack Lowden (Dunkirk).
