First logo for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie revealed

April 27, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Back in October it was announced that Paramount Pictures had snapped up the rights to the live-action/CG-hybrid Sonic the Hedgehog movie, with the studio subsequently setting a November 15th, 2019 release date for the adaptation of the iconic SEGA video game series.

During its CinemaCon presentation yesterday, the studio unveiled the first logo for the movie, and fans will no doubt be relieved that it is very much in keeping with the source material. Check it out here, via ComicBook.com…

Details on the Sonic movie are being kept tightly under wraps, but we do know that the film will mark the directorial debut of Jeff Fowler, co-founder of Blur Studio alongside Tim Miller (Deadpool), from a script by Patrick Casey and Josh Miller (Transylmania, 12 Deadly Days).
