First-person horror Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror delayed until 2025

September 12, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Fans of horror games who have been anticipating the release of SOEDESCO’s first-person horror adventure, Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror, are set to be disappointed as it has been announced that the game has been postponed until 28th February 2025.

In an announcement on SOEDESCO’s website, it was explained that the delay is down to needing extra time to polish.

“Today, we have an important update about the release of our first-person horror adventure, Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror. Initially scheduled for later this year, we’ve decided to push the launch to February 28, 2025. This delay will help us ensure the game meets our standards by giving our team additional time for final adjustments and polishing.”

The developers have said they will still keep releasing news and updates as to the game’s progress, so keep a look out for that.

In Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror players will enter the troubled mind of the once-celebrated singer Eliza de Moor.  Eliza’s mind is broken and spends her time trapped in a labyrinth constructed from her own forgotten memories. The only hope for Eliza lies with an experimental drug created by Doctor Stern.

Players will lead Eliza through troubled world behind the broken mirror, unravel the puzzles that keep her trapped, fight off the sinister dolls that watch her every move and piece together the mystery of her past.  Will the effects of the drug help players lead Eliza back to reality or keep her locked in this dark, twisted realm.

Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror features:

  • A dark and twisted world constructed from Eliza’s memories.
  • A captivating narrative with plenty of detail.
  • Fight off horrifying dolls that watch your every move.
  • Challenging puzzles to solve that will lead to one step closer to unveiling the mystery.
  • A chilling atmosphere with haunting music and vintage noir visuals.

Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror will launch on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
