First trailer for Dan Gilroy’s Velvet Buzzsaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo

Netflix has debuted the first trailer for Velvet Buzzsaw ahead of its arrival on the streaming service next month. The film sees writer-director Dan Gilroy reuniting with his Nightcrawler stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo and features a cast that also includes Toni Collette (Hereditary), John Malkovich (The ABC Murders), Daveed Diggs (Blindspotting), Zawe Ashton (Nocturnal Animals), Tom Sturridge (Mary Shelley), Billy Magnussen (Game Night) and Natalia Dyer (Stranger Things); watch it here…

Velvet Buzzsaw is a satirical thriller set in the contemporary art world scene of Los Angeles, where big money artists and mega-collectors pay a high price when art collides with commerce.

Velvet Buzzsaw arrives on Netflix on February 1st.
