Amazon MGM Studios has shared the first trailer for Verity, the psychological thriller based on the bestselling novel of the same name by It Ends with Us author Colleen Hoover.
Directed by Michael Showalter (The Idea of You), the film follows Lowen (Dakota Johnson), a struggling writer who is hired to ghostwrite for the renowned author Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) on her remote estate, where she uncovers disturbing confessions about the novelist’s husband (Josh Hartnett), throwing Lowen into a terrifying situation when the lines between fiction and reality start to blur.
