Harley Quinn spinoff Kite Man: Hell Yeah! gets first trailer

September 16, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Harley Quinn, the award-winning and fan-favorite animated series, has its very own spin-off. Kite Man: Hell Yeah! is heading to Max, and we have a deliciously bloody and wild new teaser trailer.

Coming from showrunner Dean Lorey, the ten-episode adult animated comedy will focus on the all-around lovable loser Kite Man and his new beau, Golden Glider, as they go from partners in love to partners in crime. We’ll see the pair moonlight as criminals to support their purchase of the seediest bar in Gotham City.

Executive producer Justin Halpern compares Kite Man to a classic sitcom, saying this is essentially “Cheers but for supervillains.” We’ll see appearances from iconic villains like Bane, Lex Luthor, and Harley Quinn as they seemingly prepare for an all-out war with Apokolips and the formidable foe that is Darkseid, one of the most notorious DC villains of all time.

Check out the first look at the series below…

Matt Oberg will reprise his role of Kite Man, while Stephanie Hsu will star alongside him as Golden Glider. Rounding out the cast is James Adomian as Bane, Keith David as Darkseid, Michael Imperioli as Moe and Joe Dubelz, Lance Reddick as Lex Luthor, Natasia Demetriou as Malice, Janelle James as the Queen of Fables, Jonathan Banks as Noonan, and Judith Light as Helen Villigan.

Kite Man: Hell Yeah! launches on Max in 2024.
