Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Classified Series recruits Dawn Moreno’s Snake Eyes for action figure debut

February 14, 2026 by Gary Collinson

Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Classified Series is getting another Snake Eyes, although this isn’t the umpteenth version of the original fan favourite ninja commando but rather a take on Dawn Moreno, a female character introduced in writer Larry Hama’s IDW Publishing continuation of the classic Marvel comic series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. Check out the promotional images for the Classified Series Snake Eyes (Dawn Moreno), which marks the character’s action figure debut and is available to pre-order now ahead of release later this year…

Springfield High School student Dawn Moreno caught the attention of Cobra Commander after successfully beating the entire lacrosse team by herself. Quickly proving herself invaluable, he made her his apprentice. Under the tutelage of Baroness, Dawn was strapped into the Brainwave Scanner and mistakenly implanted with the stored memories of Snake Eyes. A highly conditioned and athletic teenager now possessed the knowledge of an Arashikage Ninja and seasoned combat veteran. Confused by the flurry of new memories, she ultimately found guidance from Storm Shadow and his aunt Obake Obaasan who completed her ninja training in Tokyo. Eventually Dawn learned to achieve peace between her own psyche and that of Snake Eyes, embracing her new calling as a member of the Joe team.

“Rescued as a teen from a bleak life in Cobra. Honed into a ninja master. Inherited Snake Eye’s memories via Brainwave Scanner. Stealthy. Speedy. Deadly. You’d better believe Dawn’s a Joe.”

  • G.I. Joe is a highly skilled special operations force of men and women from around the globe tasked with defending the world from Cobra, a ruthless criminal organisation bent on total domination.
  • The G.I. Joe Classified Series evolves the retro G.I. Joe toys fans know and love into a highly articulated 15 cm (6 inch) scale with exceptional deco and articulation for cool poseability to create dazzling dioramas (some poses may require additional support).
  • Introducing fan-favorite comic book character Snake Eyes (Dawn Moreno) to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line finally adding the G.I. Joe Ninja to the official toy ranks of G.I. Joe.
  • This Snake Eyes (Dawn Moreno) figure comes with 7 accessory pieces inspired by the comic character’s rich history including alternate masked head, 2 katana swords, twin Saya sheath, and weapon accessories.
  • #197 in the Classified Series sequence. The window-box display showcases the figure along with accessory loadout, figure-specific File Card Icons, gorgeous original character artwork and dynamic digital renders
