Hit anime Gachiakuta unveils trailer for video game adaptation

December 24, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Com2uS has announced that they are working on a new action RPG based on the hit manga and anime series Gachiakuta. With a working title of Gachiakuta: The Game, players will experience the anime’s striking setting, atmosphere and grittiness. Watch the new reveal trailer below…

Gachiakuta: The Game is a survival action RPG that takes players into the dark, gritty, polluted world, where they will be challenged to enter the monster-infested wastes, complete missions, and return to the safe zones that humans can inhabit. The intense combat of the anime will be carried through into the game, complete with the distinctive visual style.

The world of Gachiakuta is one with powerful social themes of discrimination, oppression, inequality and pollution through wastefulness. This powerful series will bring these deep aspects, along with addictive and explosive action, to gamers on consoles.

This new teaser trailer shows some of the key characters that fans of the anime and manga will recognise, as they take on one of the hulking trash beasts that inhabit the Pit.

A release date for Gachiakuta: The Game is yet to be announced, but it will be optimised to take advantage of the capabilities of current PC and consoles.
