Hit anime OVERLORD arrives on mobile RPG Epic Seven

April 19, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Smilegate and developer Super Creative’s hit mobile RPG Epic Seven is playing host to the characters from the hugely popular anime and manga OVERLORD in their latest collaboration event running until 9th May.  This collaboration event will provide themed events, numerous rewards and limited time in-game missions.

OVERLORD follows a gamer who is logged into his favourite MMORPG when the game is terminated. When he awakens, he finds himself in another world as his game character, the formidable looking undead Sorceror King ‘Ainz Ooal Gown’.  Despite his fearsome looks and powers he cares deeply for the former NPCs of his friends and the subjects of his kingdom.

During this collaboration, players will get the opportunity to meet up with OVERLORD’s Ainz Ooal Gown, along with his trusted subordinates Albedo and Shalltear as Heroes.  As well as a special side story called ‘OVERLORD from Another World‘, where these characters can be met, players will have the chance to gain the 5 star Moonlight Hero Ainz Ooal Gown for free, along with rewards such as level 85 Epic Equipment.

There will be a host of collaboration themed events that players can attempt with massive rewards, including 126 free Covenant Summons and the items Epic Penguins and Awakening Elixir.  Additionally, players could also get a Dark Connection which will allow them to randomly acquire a 3-5 star Dark Elemental Hero or a summoning ticket for a 4 or 5 star Fire, Ice, and Earth elemental Hero.

Until the 2nd May, there will be a Limited Drop Rate Up Event for the collaboration hero Albedo, a 5 star Earth elemental knight.  This hero can reduce the damage allies take from critical hits.  Albedo is able to use skills such as “Rage of Nazarick,” which decreases the enemy’s defence and “Let’s Go, Bicorn!” which dispels enemy buffs and increases Speed of allies. From the 25th April to 2nd May, players will be able to obtain the 5 star Fire elemental Warrior Hero Shalltear.

If you are a fan of OVERLORD or Epic Seven then what are you waiting for?
