Hit Netflix anime Delicious in Dungeon arrives in AFK Journey

November 29, 2025 by Andrew Newton

A new collaboration event arrives in AFK Journey as the popular anime Delicious in Dungeon brings a new crossover story. Running until 26th December, this new crossover follows two of the beloved characters from the anime as they find themselves in the world of Esperia. Watch the new trailer below….

As the Delicious in Dungeon team make their way back through their dungeon to the surface, they encounter an unusual monster and accidentally open a portal to Esperia during the fierce battle. When Laios and Marcille end up in Esperia, they find a magical adventure waiting for them alongside Magister Merlin.

During the crossover, players will be able to take part in battles to collect ingredients and a special Delicious in Dungeon-style cooking system that provides combat buffs.

Just like the dungeon in the anime, this event dungeon features multiple floors that players will have to battle through. Each floor is divided into different areas that are based on monster attributes, and players can earn rewards and ingredients from each battle. There are also a variety of new side quests and boss challenges to tackle.

Laios is a warrior with the Ultimate ability Living Armour. This can regenerate after defeat to help him in battle. He has several skills, including the ability to intimidate enemies, Dungeon Gourmet, which allows him to collect ingredients from defeated monsters, and Ingredient Analysis, allowing Laios to analyse a monster to make them drop more ingredients. His Hero Focus Skill allows him to increase his ATK during battle.

Marcille is an Elven Mage who chants to cast her skills. Her chanting speed is affected by both Haste and ATK SPD, and each time she finishes chanting, she permanently increases her Haste and Energy Recovery Rate. Her skills include an explosive spell causing AoE damage, a magical flash, causing damage and blinding enemies while healing allies, and can also cast Ancient Magic to revive a fallen hero.

Players who take part in this event can earn several rewards, including 30 free exclusive Invite Letters for the “Delicious in Dungeon” crossover event, Laios and Marcille as login rewards, and can ascend Laios to Mythic+ for free.

AFK Journey is free to download and play right now on Windows PC, and on mobile devices via the Apple App Store and Android Google Play.
