Hot Toys unveils Masters of the Universe He-Man and Skeletor sixth scale figures

May 29, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

With just a week to go until the release of the new live-action Masters of the Universe movie, Hot Toys has officially unveiled its He-Man and Skeletor figures, inspired by the appearances of Nicholas Galitzine and Jared Leto as the iconic arch-enemies from the upcoming reboot. Check them out here…

Hot Toys is thrilled to present the spectacular 1/6th scale He-Man Collectible Figure, which features a newly crafted head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, allowing collectors to adjust He-Man’s fierce gaze. It also boasts a meticulously sculpted blonde mid-length wavy bob hairstyle, a movie-accurate facial expression, and incredibly lifelike skin textures.

To perfectly capture He-Man’s powerhouse physique, the figure features a newly developed muscular body crafted from platinum silicone. The inner metal skeleton is specially integrated using a one-piece molding technique, enhancing the overall design. This not only ensures seamless joints across the torso and limbs, but also simulates realistic muscle flexion as the silicone naturally shifts with every pose. Collectors will also benefit from improved articulation, offering a range of motion for dynamic, high-reaching arm movements to recreate his legendary overhead sword-raising stance.

He-Man is outfitted for battle in his warrior attire, featuring chest armor, vambraces, soft vinyl material long boots, and a leather-like microfiber material gladiator skirt — offering the rugged look of authentic leather with durability and effortless upkeep. He comes armed with the legendary Power Sword, accompanied by a translucent blue lightning effect to recreate his earth-shattering transformation sequence. The figure is perfectly complemented by a specially designed Castle Grayskull-themed two-way display diorama base, making it the ultimate companion piece to the 1/6th scale Skeletor Collectible Figure.

“I will become Master of the Universe! Castle Grayskull will be mine!” – Skeletor
As the highly anticipated live-action Masters of the Universe movie gears up to transport audiences to the world of Eternia, a dark shadow rises! Starring Jared Leto as the sinister Lord of Destruction, this epic reimagining introduces a terrifying new vision of Skeletor. To stand toe-to-toe with He-Man, Hot Toys is thrilled to present the menacing 1/6th scale Skeletor Collectible Figure.

This figure features a newly crafted head that captures his terrifying visage, completed with an LED light-up function that illuminates his eyes with a piercing red glow. To recreate his imposing presence, Skeletor features a newly developed muscular body cast in platinum silicone with an inner metal skeleton that’s integrated using a one-piece molding technique. This seamless design simulates realistic muscle flexion as the silicone shifts naturally with every pose. The articulation provides an enhanced range of motion, allowing collectors to achieve dynamic, commanding stances. His iconic blue skin is meticulously painted, showcasing intricate muscle shadow textures and skin details that add depth to the figure.

Skeletor is draped in his villainous warlord costume, featuring detailed shoulder armor with a wire-embedded dark purple cape. His outfit is completed with vambraces, armored soft vinyl material boots, and a gladiator skirt crafted from a leather-like microfiber material — offering the premium look of authentic leather with exceptional durability and effortless upkeep.

He comes equipped to conquer Eternia with his signature Havoc Staff, which features a UV luminous reflective effect to simulate its glowing, dark mystical energy. A crown and a specially designed Snake Mountain-themed two-way display diorama base complete this masterpiece, making it a spectacular companion piece to the 1/6th scale He-Man Collectible Figure.

In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.

Masters of the Universe is directed by Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings, Transformers: Bumblebee) and sees Nicholas Galitzine leading the cast as Prince Adam/He-Man alongside Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto.

Masters of the Universe is released in cinemas from June 3rd in the UK and June 5th in the US.
