In the Heights drops a brand new trailer

April 26, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

On the same night that audiences were given a glimpse at Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, Warner Bros. wanted to remind everyone that they have their own musical out this year by releasing yet another trailer for Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights. Check it out below.

Lights up on Washington Heights… The scent of a cafecito caliente hangs in the air just outside of the 181st Street subway stop, where a kaleidoscope of dreams rallies this vibrant and tight-knit community. At the intersection of it all is the likeable, magnetic bodega owner Usnavi (Anthony Ramos), who saves every penny from his daily grind as he hopes, imagines and sings about a better life.

The film features a cast that includes Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gregory Diaz IV, Stephanie Beatriz, Dascha Polanco, and Jimmy Smits.

In the Heights is set for release on June 18th in the US and on June 25th in the UK.
