Interstellar Space: Genesis arrives on Steam, Itch.io and Humble this Thursday

July 23, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Praxis Games’ turn based space 4X strategy title, Interstellar Space: Genesis, is set to arrive on STeam, Itch.io and Humble this Thursday.  On 25th June, set out into space on a mission of discovery, colonisation and conquest.  Check out the game’s launch trailer below….

In Interstellar Space: Genesis, players set off into space as one of six distinct races, each with their own abilities and advantages.  The galaxy holds many secrets and many ancient beings and it is up to the players to venture out into the void, discover these secrets and prove their race worthy of ruling the galaxy.

There’s plenty of features to explore in space with black holes, neutron stars, planets and other systems to be discovered using remote exploration technology.  There’s also remnants of other alien species to find, including ancient ruins, treasures and powerful technologies.

The game features:

  • Turn based tactical combat with free space-based movement with range limits and extensive ship customisation .
  • Soundtrack by Grant Kirkhope (GoldenEye 007, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle) and Ryan McQuinn (Lotia, Dungeons & Doritos).
  • Customise alien races with specific planet types, unique leaders and random tech trees.
  • Deep colony development and planet terraforming.
  • Varied exploration mechanics and deep diplomacy system.
  • A complex economic model with asteroid mining, space tourism and more.

Interstellar Space: Genesis arrives on Steam, Itch.io and Humble this Thursday 25th July.
