It: Chapter Two adds Xavier Dolan and Will Beinbrink to its cast

Days after James McAvoy officially announced that production is underway, Deadline is reporting that New Line Cinema’s horror sequel It: Chapter Two has added Xavier Dolan (Boy Erased) and Will Beinbrink (Queen of the South) to its cast.

Dolan is set to portray Adrian Mellon, a gay man living in Derry who is the victim of homophobic attack which ultimately results in him falling prey to Pennywise. Meanwhile, Beinbrink is set to portray Tom Rogan, the abusive husband of the adult Beverly Marsh.

It: Chapter Two will see Bill Skarsgard reprising his role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, while Jessica Chastain (Beverly), James McAvoy (Bill), Bill Hader (Richie), James Ransone (Eddie), Andy Bean (Stanley), Jay Ryan (Ben) and Isaiah Mustafa (Mike) star as the adult versions of The Losers Club. Young stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff and Chosen Jacobs are also set to reprise their roles from the first movie in flashback sequences.

It: Chapter Two will be released on September 6th, 2019.
