Jacqueline Wilson adaptation Four Kids and It gets a trailer

February 22, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

A trailer has been released for the upcoming family fantasy Four Kids and It. Based on Jacqueline Wilson’s 2012 novel, the film follows a group of children on holiday who meet a magical creature on a beach in Cornwall, who has the ability to grant wishes and features a cast that includes Paula Patton, Matthew Goode, Russell Brand, Ashley Aufderheide, Teddie Malleson-Allen, Billy Jenkins, Ellie-Mae Siame and the voice talents of Michael Caine; watch it here…

New couple Alice (Paula Patton) and David (Matthew Goode) take their less than enthusiastic children on a family holiday to a Cornish cottage to meet each other for the first time. The holiday takes an unexpected turn when, on the local beach, the kids discover a magical and very grumpy Psammead (Michael Caine), a creature with the power to grant magical wishes. Unfortunately, they also run into local aristocratic oddball Tristan (Russell Brand), who wants to capture the Psammead for his own gain. The ensuing adventure brings the new siblings together and helps them to accept their parents’ newfound happiness.

Four Kids and It is set for release on April 10th.
