James Gunn’s Peacemaker series adds Nhut Le as Judomaster

February 7, 2021 by Gary Collinson

As filming continues on the HBO Max series Peacemaker, Deadline is reporting that Nhut Le (Raven’s Home) has become the latest addition to the cast of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad spinoff series Peacemaker.

Le is set to take on the role of Judomaster, a superhero whose origins trace back to Charlton Comics, having debuted in Special War Series #4. Several characters have taken on the mantle over the years, including  U.S. Army sergeant Hadley ‘Rip’ Jagger, his son Thomas Jagger, and most recently Sonia Sato. There’s no word on the version that Le is playing, but it is said to be a recurring role.

John Cena is leading the cast of Peacemaker, reprising his role from The Suicide Squad alongside Lochlyn Munro, Chukwudi Iwuji, Annie Chang, Christopher Heyerdahl, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Chris Conrad, Steve Agee, Nhut Le, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow and Rizwan Manji.
