Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch trailer reveals 4/20 release date

March 14, 2026 by Gary Collinson

Before they take a trip to the Marvel Universe for the comic book crossover Jays of Future Past in June, Jay and Silent Bob are set to brawl their way through the View Askewniverse in the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, a new beat ’em up from developer Interabang Entertainment and publishers Atari, Digital Eclipse and The Mix Games.

Featuring single-player and couch co-op with hand drawn animation and classic side-scrolling tag-team action, Chronic Blunt Punch promises to send players “on an epic adventure from their humble, suburban New Jersey Quick Stop to an unearthed mystical mall that has unleashed an evil hold on the city.

Check out the new trailer below, introduced by Kevin Smith himself, which also reveals an appropriate 4/20 (that’s April 20th to us UK folks) release date…

Brawl your way through the streets and mall in the View Askewniverse as Jay and Silent Bob where you unleash a dizzying array of irreverent combos, special moves, collect and summon assists, in this over-the-top beat ‘em up. You’ll need to harness every ounce of smoke-fueled creativity to get past the throngs of hockey-stick wielding teenage thugs, dookie demons, hipsters with babies, old grumpy danglers and massive, movie-inspired boss battles.

Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is set for release on April 20th on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
