Jennifer Lopez is The Mother in trailer for Netflix action thriller

Netflix has released a trailer, posters and images for the upcoming action thriller The Mother, ahead of its arrival on the streamer this May.

Directed by Niki Caro, the film stars Jennifer Lopez as a deadly assassin who comes out of hiding in the Alaskan wilderness to protect the daughter that she gave up years before, from a group of dangerous criminals looking for revenge.

 

A military-trained assassin comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she’s never met from ruthless criminals gunning for revenge.

Joining Jennifer Lopez in the cast of The Mother are Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael Garcia Bernal.

The Mother arrives on Netflix on May 12th.
