Joe Manganiello, Justin Long, Craig Robinson and Frankie Shaw join Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

March 6, 2019 by Gary Collinson

As filming continues on Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, Kevin Smith has offered another casting update on his return to the View Askewniverse, with the filmmaker revealing on Instagram that Joe Manganiello (Justice League), Justin Long (Tusk), Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine) and Frankie Shaw (SMILF) will all feature in the movie, along with producer Jordan Monsanto (the wife of Jason Mewes). Here they are, posing with Smith and Mewes…

Smith has promised that Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will feature a host of familiar faces from the View Askewniverse – with Brian O’Halloran’s Dante Hicks and Jason Lee’s Brodie Bruce already confirmed – as well as  cameos “from the worlds of movies, TV, music, and podcasting”. In addition to the above, Smith has previously revealed that The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh will appear, having worked with Smith on numerous occasions on their DC superhero show.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will see the hapless stoners returning to Hollywood in an attempt to block a reboot of the Bluntman and Chronic film from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
