Ahead of its world premiere later this month at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Action Xtreme has released a trailer for Bad Day at the Office, the upcoming action thriller which is shot entirely in first person.
The film centres on Karl, a man with no recollection of who he is or how he got there when he wakes up in a trashed hotel room. But when he stumbles across a dead body in the bathtub Karl and a maid named Molly find themselves forced into an explosive series of events while trying to unravel the cause of his amnesia.
Directed by Chee Keong Cheung, the cast includes John Hannah, Radha Mitchell, Tamer Hassan, Lana Parrilla, Tim Fellingham, Roxanne McKee, Branko Tomović, and Victor Gardener. Watch the trailer below…
When Karl (John Hannah) awakes in a wrecked hotel room with a splitting headache, it isn’t because he’s nursing a nasty hangover. Karl has no memory of what’s happened, where he is, or even who he is.
When he discovers a dead body in his bathtub, and two police officers soon knocking at his door, it sets into motion a terrifying and explosive series of events that force Karl and hotel maid Molly (Radha Mitchell) on a blind descent into a deceptive world of confusion and conspiracy, all the while with a price on his head and half the city in murderous pursuit.
Karl will need to draw on his forgotten skill sets if he has any hope of survival, as he and Molly endeavour to unravel the mystery that took his memories.
Bad Day at the Office arrives in cinemas on October 30th.
